Study day on sound. «Research, radio, sound: does it resonate?», METISS Collective and TRACES project[1]

10am - 12pm: What does sound do to research?  

10am - 11.30am: Laetitia Mélon, Aline Bingen, Université Libre de Bruxelles. «Contrasting perspectives on a reflective approach using sound: the DiapaSON project (“Diffusion et Appropriation des principes de recherche-action par le son”)» funded by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF).

The project DiapaSOn is a project of reflective mediation through sound, inspired by the «photovoix» method, associating the ULB - A. Bingen, M. Fierens, L. Mélon; the Haute Ecole en Hainaut - Bénédicte Wantier; the Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR) - L. Géline Bingen, M. Fierens, L. Mélon; the Haute Ecole en Hainaut - Bénédicte Wantier; the Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR - L. Gélineau, J. Richard, J. Montplaisir; and the NGO GRAINES - R. Ndiatte Sy, A. Souleymane D.XX), and conducted in collaboration with a participatory research-action group on poverty in rural areas and a youth centre in Charleroi (Belgium).
