In collaboration with the transversal axis Urban studiesAxis 4 of MESOPOLHIS will host Miguel A. Martínez, Professor of Urban Sociology at the University of Uppsala in Sweden.
On this occasion, Miguel A. Martínez will present the book Research Handbook on Urban Sociologywhich he edited and published with Edward Elgar in 2024.
Attentive to the problems of participatory action research, this researcher studies social movements and urban phenomena from a sociological point of view and tackles a wide range of issues in his international fieldwork: urban segregation, housing, mobility, governance, sustainability, etc.
