The Mucem is hosting two days of meetings dedicated to solidarity and creativity in Gaza.

Cultural and scientific meetings on artistic creation and the destruction of cultural heritage in Gaza, the challenges of receiving artists in emergency situations in France and cultural solidarity around Palestine.

Organised on the initiative of the MAAN for Gaza Artists Collective, these meetings bring together Gazan artists and researchers who have been welcomed in France, cultural institutions and artists committed to Palestine, as well as researchers specialising in the region and artistic migration. This event is organised to coincide with the exhibition “Déplacer le silence : 40 artistes et poéte-ses de Gaza” curated by Rasha Salti (assisted by Anna Breton) and running from 16 May to 5 June at Jeanne Barret.
