Session 5: Studying professional worlds with Bourdieu


Date : 26 April - 9.30am-12.30pm, 2pm-5pm - Location Salle Duby, MMSH

Shaping agents through work (habitus, hexis, ethos) - The double truth (objective and subjective) of work - The categories of professional understanding - Structural analysis of work - The concept of illusio to grasp investment in work - Thinking about internal differences and issues of struggle specific to professional spaces.
