Alix Philippon's habilitation to supervise research (HDR in French) comprises three volumes, including a summary dissertation ("Sufi politics at a time of war against terrorism from Pakistan to Iraq"), a selection of 21 publications and an unpublished dissertation on Iraq entitled "Reviving dead hearts. Festivities, identity construction and (de)territorialisation in contemporary Iraqi Sufism".
