This study day will look at the effects of collaboration between the world of research and those involved in schools, extra-curricular and after-school activities on children's development, with a particular focus on very young children. It is part of a wider reflection on educational continuity, the complementarity of educational spaces and co-educational practices, particularly in extracurricular activities, which are considered as third-party spaces that promote comprehensive education.

At a time when artistic and cultural education (ACE) and cultural and artistic awakening (CAA) are attracting growing interest, both in scientific circles and in public policy, a number of questions are emerging: How does the aesthetic experience shape the sensory, cognitive and social development of young children? How do these first encounters with art contribute to the development of psychosocial skills such as empathy, cooperation and emotional management?
