A university initiative to support public debate and collective action in Marseille's 4-5 district.

For three years (2022-2025), the aim is to involve students and their teachers in projects and research on the 4th and 5th arrondissements of Marseille, making this work accessible to the public in order to support debate, public and collective action, and the development of the district for all its inhabitants, with local players interested in an independent, critical and constructive view.

Workshop coordinated by Claire Bénit-Gbaffou (lecturer in urban planning, Department of Geography, Development and Environment, Aix-Marseille University; and researcher at MESOPOLHIS (CNRS-Sciences Po-AMU)); Cesare Mattina (lecturer in Sociology, Aix Marseille University, and researcher at MESOPOLHIS (CNRS-Sciences Po-AMU)) and Etienne Ballan (sociologist and urban planner, lecturer at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure du Paysage (ENSP) in Marseille).
