Nicole Ramognino, Ariane Richard-Bossez (dir.) - La connaissance au cœur du social. Elementary categories and educational activities

L'Harmattan, "Epistémologie, philosophie, sciences", 2021.

This book is a contribution to the defence of a general sociology. It posits that knowledge (cognition, episteme... whatever its various names) is a general and transversal entry point for the observation of social phenomena, since it cuts across all social activity and all social objects. The works presented here approach this question from an ontological and empirical angle. The first part proposes a reflexive investigation of the general anthropological categories that posit the existence of objects or beings, the definition of spatiality and its boundaries, and the definition of a plural temporality in which social beings and objects are inscribed.
