MESOPOLHIS doctoral students' association: MESODOC

The aim of the MESODOC association is to bring together and represent young researchers from the MESOPOLHIS laboratory to :

• To promote research in sociology, political science and history as well as in all scientific fields developed within the MESOPOLHIS laboratory;
• Promote scientific, academic and cultural exchanges between doctoral students from the MESOPOLHIS laboratory and outside, while ensuring that they are represented, both within the laboratory and in other bodies. the various university bodies ;
• Communicate any information likely to be of interest to them in terms of from a research perspective than for the construction of an academic or professional project/activity;
• Enhance and promote doctoral training, in particular by providing information the doctoral candidates concerned on the conditions under which the training will take place;
• To promote professional integration and strengthen the role of young researchers in the scientific and academic life of the MESOPOLHIS laboratory and in other university or private institutions.
• Welcoming and integrating new doctoral students to facilitate their integration into the life of the laboratory;
• Encourage exchanges, meetings and partnerships between doctoral students.

However, the association wishes to emphasise that it is not within its remit to organise more substantial events such as doctoriales or writing retreats. It can, however, provide support and logistical assistance to doctoral students wishing to organise this type of event or meeting.
