CHERIAU Raphaël

Functions

Raphaël Cheriau is a research associate at MESOPOLHIS. His research focuses on the history of maritime repression of human trafficking by the French and British navies in the 19th century. His work falls within the fields of humanitarian history, international relations and international law.

Since 2023: Lecturer at the IEP in Aix-en-Provence (introductory course in the history of international relations) 19th - 20th century)

Since 2021: History-geography teacher in the British international section at the Lycée Marseilleveyre.

Since 2018: Research Associate at the Centre Roland Mousnier and the University College Dublin Centre for War Studies.

Since 2017: PhD in the history of international relations and Europe. Paris Sorbonne University and University College Dublin.
