The first Axis 1 study day for the 2024-2025 academic year will be devoted to epistemological and methodological approaches in sociology.
See you on Friday 27 September at the MMSH (Tillion room) from 9.15am to 1pm!
Three guest speakers will shed light on their research work and methodological orientation:
- Alternative and filmic approaches: by Fabienne Le Houéroudirector of research at the CNRS (IREMAM), discussed by Nathalie Chapon (MESOPOLHIS).
- Qualitative approaches around stories in research with the book All those who fall, faces of the Saint-Barthélémy massacre by Jérémie FoaLecturer in History at Aix-Marseille University (TELEMMe/MMSH), discussed by Philippe Aldrin (MESOPOLHIS).
- Quantitative approaches in sociology : by Clément De BelsunceResearch Engineer at the Aix-Marseille University Data Platform (PUD-AMU) - PROGEDO, discussed by Sylvia Girel (MESOPOLHIS).
