In a world beset by long-lasting and complex humanitarian crises, international aid can no longer be conceived without analysis, a detailed understanding of contexts and critical hindsight.

This round table will highlight inspiring stories from graduates and professionals committed to emblematic organisations such as the French and International Red CrossMédecins du Mondethe United Nations or OECD.

Researchers, humanitarians and analysts will share their experiences to show how the social sciences - political science, sociology and international relations - provide practical input for decisions, actions in the field and development aid policies.

A time for exchanging ideas and gaining a better understanding of :

  • the current realities of humanitarian aid,
  • developments in the sector,
  • and career opportunities for those who want to go international.
