Creative research designates all research approaches that encourage creation as a continuous process. Depending on the practices and timeframes specific to each project, these combine design, experimentation, production and a critical and theoretical grasp of the creative process" (Hexagram).
The presence of François-Joseph Lapointe, biologist and artist, will provide an opportunity for a wide range of contributors to discuss their careers, their experiences of research and creation, and the originality of their productions. Biology, anthropology, astrophysics, the plastic and visual arts, sound and dance will all be highlighted and discussed through the work of artists and researchers.
The two meetings on offer, one on Research/creation at work: intersecting perspectives and the other on Research/creation: issues and comparison of training courses, will enable us to "better understand and promote the place of research/creation in the production of knowledge and the transmission of knowledge today". Before and after the debates, there will be time for discussion, workshops/exhibitions, mediation and experimentation, and you will have the opportunity to take part in a workshop and a performance.
