Change in the Mediterranean (MeM) is a multidisciplinary scientific journal in the humanities and social sciences. In the form of thematic dossiers, it analyses emerging changes, turning points, crises or longer periods of transition in the Mediterranean area. Its editorial board is made up of doctoral students from various disciplines in the human and social sciences.

- Ana Rubio, doctoral student at INAMA and member of the editorial committee
- Emma Giraud-Legrand, PhD student at TELEMMe and LERMA and member of the editorial committee

This third issue of Mutation in the Mediterranean addresses the issue of social, cultural, environmental and political vulnerabilities, as well as the agentivities to which these situations give rise. Rooted in the Mediterranean region, its authors examine vulnerabilities in terms of the capacity of individuals to be affected and to affect them in return, and the way in which they circumvent and overcome them.

- Emma Duteil, a doctoral student at Aix-Marseille University (TELEMMe) and at Casa de Velázquez: «Creating a community to escape vulnerability? The case of the cagots (17th-18th centuries)».»
- Vincent Sarbach-Pulicani, D. student at the Université Côte d'Azur (Centre de la Méditerranée Moderne et Contemporaine): «An imagined vulnerability? The political and economic isolation of the first Corsican autonomist movement at the heart of the 1930s».»
- Moderated by: Muriel Girard, She is a lecturer in Human and Social Sciences at the École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Marseille.

Change in the Mediterraneanis an open-access digital journal whose editorial board is made up of doctoral students from various disciplines in the Humanities and Social Sciences. It offers young researchers a place to publish, and a unique opportunity to learn about scientific publishing through practice, in an open science context.

Change in the Mediterranean is an open-access digital journal, initially supported by the SoMuM Institute and then by MESOPOLHIS from its third issue onwards. Its editorial board, made up of doctoral students from various disciplines in the humanities and social sciences, offers young researchers a publication space and a unique opportunity to learn about scientific publishing through practice, in a spirit of open science.
