HyFlex: shaping the transition to hydrogen in local and regional authorities...

During this third session, Maurice Olive, Pierre Fournier and Cesare Mattina (MESOPOLHIS) will present the HyFlex Project «Designing the transition to hydrogen in the regions: how flexible are projects between environmental risks and socio-political risks?This research programme, coordinated by Pierre Fournier - with the Institut Méditerranéen pour la Transition Environnementale (ITEM, AMU) laboratory of the Institut Méditerranéen de Biodiversité et d'Écologie marine et continentale (IMBE) as its partner - aims to track the trajectory of an emerging hydrogen development project in a sparsely populated area. To this end, it proposes to integrate the analytical capabilities of the environmental and social sciences to determine the value of the risks and opportunities it encounters, and to understand whether or not the stakeholders involved are taking them into consideration.
