The conference "Political exile and Arab migrations in Turkey: Activism, Mobilizations, Impacts on the host country" will take place on 3 & 4 November in Istanbul. It is organised by Yohanan Benhaïm (IFEA), Nouran Gad (Mesopolhis), and Enrique Klaus (Université Côte d'Azur), and by the Institut Français d'Etudes Anatoliennes (IFEA), with the support of mesopolhis, the IISMM, the Galatasaray Consortium and the ERC LIVE-AR. 

The aim of this conference is to examine the relationship between Arab/Arab-speaking migration and politics in Turkey. There have been many such population movements since 2011, yet they remain under-researched. 

With the participation of : Nouran Gad - Mesopolhis-Sciences Po Aix (organiser and participant); Dilek Yankaya - Mesopolhis-Sciences Po Aix (discussant) and Léo Fourn - Mesopolhis (participant).
