For this session, Axis 2: "Migration, mobility and movement". is delighted to welcome Dorota Dakowska, Professor of Political Science at Sciences Po Aix (MESOPOLHIS), who will be speaking on the following topic: «Analysing the exile and reception of Ukrainian academics: France, Poland and Lithuania».».

This will be an opportunity to discuss his recent article in the magazine French ethnology, « Fleeing and writing. The Ukrainian academic world in exile« and find out more about the current ANR EXILEST and AMIPOL (PHC POLONIUM) programmes in which Dorota is taking part.

Dorota Dakowska is interested in the consequences of the war in Ukraine, particularly in terms of exile. Her publications have also focused on the intermediary players in German foreign policy, democratisation in Central and Eastern Europe and the reshaping of political competition in the context of the enlargement of the European Union, and the borderline between democracy and authoritarianism.
