"The city of Marseille seems a long way from the days when everyone left it for the outskirts or for towns with better economic health. In the 1990s, Marseille, tired of seeing its residents flee for other horizons over the last twenty years, embarked on a vast seduction operation. The stated aim was to reverse the demographic decline.
