- Co-ordinator of the THUMCARI (Tourism and Heritage Uses of the Mediterranean Coast Adjacent to Risk Industry) research programme on the tourism and heritage enhancement of high-risk coastlines in the Mediterranean. This programme is part of the French National Research Agency's European and International Scientific Projects (MRSEI).
