Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce the defence of my HDR, which will take place on Monday 9 February 2026 at 2pm in the science lounges of Sciences Po, Saint-Thomas campus.
The dossier consists of three volumes:
A dissertation: «From American civilisation to the history of the United States in the Cold War» (109 p.)
An unpublished research paper: «Margins of Alignment: The United States, Détente, and the Challenge of Neutralism in Southern Europe» (342 p.)
A collection of scientific works (367 p.).
The jury is made up of : Nicolas Badalassi (Sciences Po Aix), Antoine Coppolani (Université de Montpellier Paul-Valéry), Mario Del Pero, guarantor (Sciences Po), Justine Faure (Université de Lille), Sarah Snyder (American University), Isabelle Vagnoux (Aix Marseille Université).
