As a doctoral student in sociology, my research focuses on anonymous cemeteries in Turkey and the relationship between urban space and death.

Academic work
Provisional title: «Necrotopographies of neoliberal urbanisation: Cemeteries of the anonymous in Istanbul and Ankara». Using necropolitics and necrotopography, this research explores the way in which the Turkish state uses the cemeteries of the anonymous (kimsesizler) as spatial devices of exclusion and erasure of collective memory, particularly in the context of neoliberal urbanisation.
Master 2 thesis : «Pandemic, power and subjectivity: a critical reading of the discourses and mechanisms of Covid-19 management in France and Turkey».», under the supervision of Michele Spanò, Political Studies, EHESS Paris, summa cum laude.
