The research programme team PROTEUS (PROspective InterdisciplinaryThinking on TErritorial USes and Risk Anticipation in the Mediterranean) invites you to take part in a study day in the human and social sciences (SHS) on the heritage of marine protected areas (MPAs) in the face of climate change.

The day is divided into three parts, with plenty of time for discussions and questions :

  • The first part discusses taking climate change into account within MPAs.
  • The second part focuses on the impact of climate change on the cultural heritage present in MPAs.
  • The third part is devoted to a participatory workshop: co-construction of coastal frescoes in order to identify issues and proposals for the management, protection and enhancement of coastal and underwater heritage.
