These interdisciplinary study days will bring together the various registers and references of anthropology, sociology, history, philosophy, psychoanalysis, literature and musicology in order to (re)thinking the experience of nostalgia and absence in exile. The event brings together specialists in these themes and representatives of various disciplines in the humanities and social sciences to explore a common theme across historical time and cultural space: Is nostalgia, an emotion born of lack and absence, a constant in the context of exile?
