First edition of the Festival de la Médiation Culturelle: "Innovative and plural cultural mediations" (speech by Sylvia Girel)

"With this first Festival of Cultural MediationWe'd like to launch a unique event that will bring together professionals in a cross-disciplinary approach. This event will provide an opportunity to share the expertise and experience of cultural mediatorsThis is an opportunity to exchange ideas on their practices and day-to-day challenges, and to cross-fertilise issues between different sectors.

This Francophone meeting will bring together perspectives and practices from France, Switzerland, Belgium and Quebec.

In 2025, this first edition will highlight the theme of innovative and plural cultural mediationsby promoting creative practices to create more engaging and interactive cultural experiences.

Thursday 13 March, 11am-12noon: "Public Observatory: how can it be structured and implemented within your organisation?" 
Moderator: Anne-Sophie Marchal Speakers: Claire Iselin, Sylvia Girel and Philippine de Marcellus | Knowing the profile of visitors, in particular their behaviour, needs and expectations, is essential today. This round table is an opportunity to discuss the tools and strategies needed to create a sustainable observatory. This could provide institutions with key data for improving the museum experience and adapting the cultural offering to audiences that are constantly changing.
