Organised by three doctoral students and a young doctor in history from the MESOPOLHIS laboratory, this seminar aims to provide a monthly meeting place for researchers, post-doctoral students, doctoral students and master's students in the humanities and social sciences whose research focuses on experiences of violence in the context of contemporary conflict in the 19th and 20th centuries.

  • This call is aimed at doctoral and post-doctoral students and young researchers.
  • Proposals of around 500 words, accompanied by a brief biographical note, should be sent to before 24 November 2024 to the seminar address: semdoc.mesopolhis@gmail.com

Following on from the studies carried out as part of the international research group " War Losses and Casualties "The aim of this monthly meeting is to bring together the different approaches of young researchers dealing with the phenomena of violence(s), in order to gain a better understanding of the multiple experiences caused by confrontation with war phenomena.
