"Claire Miot honoured in CNRS Journal for "liberated Marseilles

The expertise of Claire Miota lecturer in contemporary history at Sciences Po Aix and Mesopolhis researcher, is featured in an article by Marina Julienne published on 21 August 2024 on the CNRS online journal.

"As a photojournalist and member of the Resistance, Julia Pirotte documented the first day of the Marseille uprising on 21 August 1944, alongside the fighting men. Through these photographs, historian Claire Miot tells the story of this little-known episode in the liberation of the city.
