Transparency International France is launching this year the \u00abVan Ruymbeke Prize\u00bb<\/strong>, in tribute to the unwavering commitment of this magistrate, a key figure in major politico-financial affairs. This literary prize is intended to reward works devoted to the fight against corruption, broadly defined as \u00abthe misuse of delegated power for private or particular ends\u00bb, thus covering a wide range of issues: breaches of probity, illicit financial flows, lobbying and undue influence, etc.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The work of Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Monier<\/a>, Dishonest power. Public corruption in France, 18th-20th centuries<\/a><\/em> (Champ Vallon, 2025)<\/strong>, is one of five finalists selected for the \u00abVan Ruymbeke Prize\u00bb launched in 2025 by Transparency International France : https:\/\/transparency-france.org\/2025\/09\/12\/lancement-du-prix-van-ruymbeke\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final winner of this first edition will be unveiled at the Corruption in Images festival, co-organised by France, Anticor, Sherpa and Transparency International France, on Saturday 6 December at the Studio Pierre Cardin of the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de la Concorde (1 AV Gabriel, 75008 Paris).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
