National and European legislation sets ambitious targets for achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. However, it is up to local authorities, private operators, investors and landowners to build the facilities. While the development of renewable energy depends on a multiplicity of local projects bringing together coalitions of players with their own specific trajectories, is it really possible to plan the energy trajectory of a country like France?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The book has a strong operational dimension. It adopts the point of view of local and regional authorities faced with these new challenges, and also takes care to integrate into the debate the logic of State control as well as the financial and technical logic of operators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is aimed at urban planners and developers, both public and private, as well as local authority managers in charge of transition issues. It will also be of interest to all those involved in projects, from major industrialists to local associations, who need to find their way through the maze of procedures and territorial controversies.
