In collaboration with the transversal axis Urban studies<\/em>Axis 4 of MESOPOLHIS will host Miguel A. Mart\u00ednez, Professor of Urban Sociology at the University of Uppsala in Sweden<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this occasion, Miguel A. Mart\u00ednez will present the book Research Handbook on Urban Sociology<\/strong><\/em>which he edited and published with Edward Elgar in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attentive to the problems of participatory action research, this researcher studies social movements and urban phenomena from a sociological point of view and tackles a wide range of issues in his international fieldwork: urban segregation, housing, mobility, governance, sustainability, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
