Round table on \u00abThe making of the thesis: what is the current state of research training in the social sciences and humanities?\u00bb<\/strong> :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speakers: Maena Berger (EHESS), Sixtine Deroure (Paris 1), Fran\u00e7ois Dumasy<\/a> (Mesopolhis), Necati G\u00fcm\u00fcs<\/a> (Mesopolhis), Simon Mangon<\/a> (Mesopolhis), Alix Philippon<\/a> (Mesopolhis).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This round-table discussion looks at the issue of research training in the social sciences and humanities, based on the presentation of the book La fabrique de la th\u00e8se. A collective guide to a personal exercise<\/a> <\/strong><\/em>(Mangon, Garapon, Jeanmougin, Judell, 2024) in which several young researchers from the laboratory took part. The aim of the MESOPOLHIS autumn session is to initiate a discussion between tenured researchers, young PhDs and doctoral students on the doctoral practice and its supervision, with a view to a broader exchange on the contemporary challenges of research training and the best ways to support young researchers at the start of their careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
