Contemporary art will be no exception. Once the shockwaves have passed, artists, professionals and audiences will have to reinvent their practices to get through this confined period. The contemporary art world, like most other sectors in France, will be in \u00abcontainment\u00bb mode for several months from March 2020. How are professionals reorganising to continue showing works, promoting artists and their exhibitions? How are audiences reorienting their practices? What role does the internet play in this unexpected and unprecedented situation? These sociological surveys examine the impact of confinement on the public and their practices of contemporary art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
