About the project
VIRMOBS is a collaborative and comparative project that examines the virtual mobility of international students in the United Kingdom, France and Canada – three popular destinations for international mobility that take contrasting approaches to recruiting international students.
It is the first significant study of virtual mobility, that is, forms of international student mobility in which students enrol on online distance-learning programmes delivered abroad rather than travelling there in person.
