Aix Marseille University
Aix-Marseille Université (AMU) is the largest multidisciplinary university in the French-speaking world, with 80,000 students and almost 8,000 staff on 5 major campuses that meet international standards. The university owns 90 % of its own property and is present in 9 towns in 4 départements in the South of France.
The A*Midex University Foundation, which is the permanent holder of the IDEX, is contributing to the development of a world-class interdisciplinary higher education and research cluster. Known as a "research-intensive university", it is home to 122 research structures linked to major national research bodies.
The French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS)

Sciences Po Aix
Grande école university, Sciences Po Aix is a public institution of higher education, linked to the University of Aix-Marseille by an agreement, and a member of the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles. It trains students for positions of high responsibility in the public and private sectors. Sciences Po Aix offers a multi-disciplinary curriculum based on the humanities and social sciences, including general culture, sociology, the social sciences of politics, political science, law, economics, international relations, history, foreign languages and methodology.
Sciences Po Aix pays particular attention to research, both in terms of the scientific activities of its lecturers and the place of scientific culture in the courses taught in the degree and masters programmes.
Sciences Po Aix is making available to the laboratory the unique site of the Espace Philippe Seguin.
